Up for sale is this Hardwood turning blank. It is Zebrawood (Microberlinia brazzavillensis) and measures 1.5″ x 1.5″ x 6.0″ . Zebrawood has a light golden-yellow heartwood with narrow veining or streaks of dark brown to almost black, giving the quartered surfaces a zebra-stripe appearance. The grain is interlocked or wavy and produces alternating hard and soft grained material. Hard, heavy and stable.
It is the perfect size for a tool handle. Design your own and turn it out on your wood lathe, finish anyway you like and have a unique tool that shows who you are and fits and feels just like you want!I also sell this wood hand turned into chisel handles for either socket or tang type chisels so please check my store for availability. |
