Up for sale is this Hardwood turning blank. It is Quina (Myroxylon peruiferum) and measures 1.5″ x 1.5″ x 6.0″ . It is the perfect size for a Wood Turning Tool handle. Quina or Argentine Sandalwood is a pinkish-red wood with an oily feel and incredible perfumed scent that lasts. Quina is beautifully figured. Finely textured, this wood provides an excellent polish. Quina is extremely durable.
It would also work well for other tool handles. Design your own and turn it out on your wood lathe, finish anyway you like and have a unique tool that shows who you are and fits and feels just like you want!
