Exotic 1.5″ x 1.5″ x 12″Exotic Brazilian Leopardwood / Lacewood Turning Blank

Up for sale is this Hardwood turning blank.  It is  Leopardwood ( Roupala brasiliensis.) and measures 1.5″ x 1.5″ x 12.0″ .  The color is  a yellowish orange , with streaks of medium to dark reddish brown.   Leopardwood is pale pinkish brown to medium brown with flaky, speckled figure with dark flecks, varying from a small lace like pattern to a larger “splashy” figure. The texture of Leopardwood is fairly coarse. It is moderately hard and works easy and takes a lustrous finish. Fairly scarce.It is the perfect size for a Wood Turning Tool handle. It would also work well for other tool handles.  Design your own and turn it out on your wood lathe, finish anyway you like and have a unique tool that shows who you are and fits and feels just like you want!
