Up for sale is this Hardwood turning blank.  It is  Caribbean Rosewood (Chechen – Metopium brownei) also known as “Black Poison Wood”. Caribbean Rosewoods color ranges from amber to dark brown, often with a range of colors and contrasting streaks. This wood is quite hard, dense and tight-grained. With care, a beautiful, lustrous finish can be obtained. This blank measures 1.5″ x 1.5″ x 6.0″ .  It is the perfect size for a tool handle.  Design your own and turn it out on your wood lathe, finish anyway you like and have a unique tool that shows who you are and fits and feels just like you want!
