Up for sale is this Hardwood turning blank. It is Olivewood from Italy(Olea hochstetteri) and measures 1.5″ x 1.5″ x 6.0″ . Olivewood is brown to rich greenish brown in color, streaked with dark brown lines. Use only sharp tools to cut this one and it finishes beautiful. The figure ranges from straight to wavy. It is hard and heavy, very fine texture. It is the perfect size for a Wood Chisel handle, Bottle Stopper, and more. Design your own and turn it out on your wood lathe, finish anyway you like and have a unique tool that shows who you are and fits and feels just like you want!
